James Washington McGuffee Family

James Washington McGuffee was born in Mississippi on December 28, 1870 to the marriage of Benjamin Franklin McGuffee and Georgia Ann Price.

On March 16, 1892 he married Minnie Belle Allbritton in Catahoula Parish.  Minnie Belle was born on December 22, 1872 to the marriage of G. W. and Sarah Allbritton of Catahoula Parish.

The 1900 and 1910 U. S. census records show James and family living in Ward 6 of Catahoula Parish.

The 1920 U. S. census record shows the family living in Ward 4 of Catahoula Parish.

James Washington McGuffee died on January 23, 1930.  He is buried in the Spring Ridge Cemetery in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana.

Minnie Belle Allbritton McGuffee died on December 15, 1952.  She is buried near her husband in the Spring Ridge Cemetery in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana.
