Horace Bondurant was the son of Horace Bondurant, Sr. and Jane Catherine Norris. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Maxey Bondurant and Elizabeth Peyton Cammack. His maternal grandparents were Dr. Richard Henry Norris and Harriet Perry.
Horace's brother, Yelverton, was the father of Yelverton, Jr. "Yelvie" and Anita [Oliphant]. Yelvie's son, Joe Bondurant, married Peggy Krause. Joe and Peggy continue to live in Sicily Island.
Almeda Duncle was the daughter of William R. Duncle and Almeda Turner. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Duncle and Octavia Leland.
