Military Monday will be a recurring post every Monday to honor the past service of those who are no longer with us. If you have family members from Sicily Island or surrounding communities who served in any of the various branches of the military and would like to have them recognized on this blog, please email rootsfromthebayou@gmail.com.  Background information and photographs will be included in the post when your family member is honored.
