| Fred Krause Feed and Seed Store - established in the early 1950s |
Frederick Oscar Krause was born in Sicily Island on February 3, 1920 to the marriage of Henry Markham Krause, Sr. and Earle York. He was a brother to Henry Markham, Jr. and Albert Earl Krause, Sr.
His grandparents were Gotleib and Caroline Rotham Krause and Zebulon and Mollie Earle York, Sr.
On December 23, 1944 Fred married Mildred Passman, the daughter of John Passman and Allie Stringer. Mildred's maternal grandparents were William Otto Passman and Nancy "Nanny" Jane Albritton.
In the early 1950s, Fred Krause operated a Feed and Seed Store. Patrons were local poultry and livestock farmers.
